Pebble Chin

Upon the movement of your lower face, if you have the effect of what looks like an "orange peel" or small craters/dimpling around the chin area, then you have what we call a pebbled chin. This is caused when the mentalis muscle, together with the jaw bone, results in hyperactivity or is too large. 

We target the chin area through the use of wrinkle relaxing injections that work to reduce and relax the movements of the muscle. In this case the muscle that is treated is the mentalis muscle (chin muscle) and overall this will give a smoother appearance of the chin.
