Vertical lip lines are lines around the mouth that are present at rest due to pursing or pouting the lips and over-use of the orbicularis oris muscle (for example use of a straw or smoking). Eventually the lines deepen and become set and are visible at rest too. These can be treated using botulinum toxin however if they are deep set or present at rest we can treat these with dermal filler. 1-2ml of dermal filler may be required dependent on the depth and severity.
